Pangaea Adventures is now offering an 8 day guided wilderness sea kayaking trip to the best whale watching areas in Prince William Sound, Alaska. The tour meets in Anchorage Alaska and includes 7 days of fully guided kayak camping to Knight Island, Whale and Icy Bays.
The tour meets in Anchorage on the first evening for casual introductions and packing instructions. In the morning, everyone transports by van to the port town of Whittier, where they climb aboard a motorboat for a 4 hour ride out to the first camp on a beautiful Island. Over the next 7 days the guides will lead the group through remote bays, along rugged coastline, and up to amazing tide water glaciers. Paddle Knight Island, Whale Bay and Icy Bay, all offering the best opportunities to see Orca and humpback whales. Pangaea Adventures supplies all kayaking and camping equipment, all meals, guides, van and motorboat transportation, 2 nights hotel accommodations, and an unforgettable experience. The trip price is only $1795 per person. Group size ranges from 4-10 guests. 2003 Trip dates are June: 7, 14, 28 July: 5, 12, 26 Aug: 2, 9 and custom dates are available.
