This tour meets in Valdez.
Day 1 : We will depart Valdez early for a van ride north to Chitina where we catch a flight to McCarthy. The scenic flight takes about 30 minutes. Upon landing we will have a short amount of time to explore the quaint town before making our contacting flight into the back country. We set camp for a relaxing evening.

Day 2-4 : We'll have a leisurely morning to enjoy the sights of Allies Valley before ascending over a pass to the neighboring valley. Sweeping views are only part of the reward. Enjoy hiking in an alpine setting of tundra and rock. The terrain offers moderate hiking. Enjoy fields of flowers, views of endless peaks, rocky passes and hillside traversing. We should reach the Bremner Valley area by day 4. Wide open campsites are wonderful.

Day 5 : Today depends on how far from the landing strip we are. In most cases we pack up early and are prepared for a pick-up. This gives us time to go on a morning hike to take pictures and absorb the scenery. The plane will pick us up just after lunch for the flight back to McCarthy. We then fly back to Chitina for the van ride back to Valdez.

We offer custom trip prices for those who want to keep the group to just who sign up under your reservation. The total group size determines the final price. The maximum guest to guide ratio is 4:1.
