Pangaea Adventures operates two United State Coast Guard inspected motor vessels in Prince William Sound. We services to both private groups or offer ride sharing oportunties to various destinations in the sound.

Professional Captains
Our licensed captains are on call 7 days a week from May through September for water taxi transportation of sea kayakers, hikers, camping groups and individuals throughout Prince William Sound, Alaska.

Prices are based on mileage and number of passengers.
Example Prices: Based on Group of 4 one way
Shoup Glacier $35 per person each way
Columbia Glacier $110 per person
(one way or round trip same day)

MV Explorer: 15 Passenger"Explorer" is a 30 feet long and 10 foot wide motor vessel that has been specially designed and built for our specific needs. The high speed, highly efficient and very reliable vessel is well suited for the waters of Prince William Sound. Built by "ACB" Aluminum Chambered Boats, the hull is considered unsinkable due to it's surrounding chambers and aluminum construction. Explorer is equipped with Radar, GPS, Marine Radio, Self Deploying Safety Rafts and all of the other USCG required equipment. Explorer is United States Coast Guard inspected for about 14 passengers and cruises at around 28 knots. There is a toiler on board. |

MV Mayflower Star: 25 Passenger"Mayflower Star" is 38 feet long by 12 feet wide. It was originally built by Laidlaw as a school bus for the remote communities around Ketchikan. This vessel is comfortable and roomy. The front of the vessel has a drop down gate for easy loading and unloading from the beach. It is powered by twin Cummins Diesel engines and water jets. Mayflower Star is US Coast Guard inspected for 25 passengers and carries all of the required gear and more! Yes, there is a toilet on board. |

Water Taxi Service Offered Daily
Panagea Adventures departs Valdez for the Cabins in Shoup Bay State Marine Park and the Forest Service Cabin in Jack Bay.
The following agencies offer Public Use Cabins in the Valdez area.
Each cabin is accessible by water only. You can either kayak to the cabins or hire a water taxi for a remote drop-off.
State Park Cabins Located in Shoup Bay: 10 miles from Valdez : $65 peak per night per cabin.
