For the Kayakers
Want to Kayak and see the best wildlife in Prince William Sound? Climb aboard our comfortable water taxi and enjoy a 9 hour day of wildlife viewing and guided sea kayaking at Columbia Glacier in Prince William Sound. On board you will have a chance to view the Sounds wildlife including seals, sea lions, whales, goat, bear and Dall Porpoise. You will learn about the history of the area and you will hear stories about the first people to explore and live in the Sound. We cruise into Heather Bay where we will climb into our kayaks for a few hours of paddling amongst the icebergs. We will take a break on the glaciers terminal moraine and enjoy a light lunch and a walk. The water taxi will pick us up about 4-5 hours after we departed for the trip back to Valdez. First time paddlers are welcome. Hot Drinks and Snacks are Provided. Please pack a lunch.

Meet at Pangaea at 8:00 am for gear-up and instruction.
*We use both our own water taxi, "Explorer" when Stan Stephens Cruises is filled with sightseeing passengers. Stan Stephens Cruises will operate for us on various days throughout the summer, but not on any particular schedule. If you have a group of 7 or more you may request the Stan Stephens boat for use as the water taxi.
