| Day 1- Take the free hotel shuttel from the airport to the hotel. We schedule a meeting around 7:00 p.m. We discuss the upcoming week and go over everyones gear to make sure everyone has everything they need.
Day 2- Meet at the Hotel in the morning. Drive north into the Matanuska Valley and spend the first day hiking on the Matansuka Glacier.
Day 3- We drive east and spend the afternoon rafting a beautiful class III river in the Copper Basin. We will spend the evening camping at a local camp ground.
Day 4- We drive over Thompson Pass and go for a hike with views of Worthington Glacier. Drive through the famous Keystone Canyon with its towering waterfalls. We camp in a local Valdez campground.
Day 5- Climb aboard the water taxi for the ride out to Columbia Glacier. We spend the first day of kayaking through the icebergs and watching seals and sea otters cruise the proected waters.
Day 6- Paddle through Columbia Bay out to Glacier Island. A good long day with chances of seeing whales and more sea otters. Camp on Glacier Island.
Day 7- Paddle around glacier Island to Bulls Head to see the sea lion colony. This offers an exciting paddle with hundreds of sea lions before the motor baot comes to pick us up for the ride to Valdez. Optinal upgrade to a B&B or camp at a local camp ground.
Day 8- Wake up early to catch the ferry across Prince William Sound. The 8 hour ferry ride takes us to the port town of Whittier where we catch a van ride back to Anchorage to end the trip.
