Pangaea Adventures is proud to offer high quality, cost effective, and technically advanced film production support in Prince William Sound and South Central Alaska. We specialize in supporting film crews working on environmentally responsible films and stories. We also offer a professional staff to provide safety and support for adventure films on our local glaciers and on Prince William Sound.
We operate our own motor vessel for film crew transportation in Prince William Sound The high speed, highly efficient and very reliable "Explorer" was built in 2005 and is 30 feet long and 10 feet wide. This vessel is perfectly suited for film crew transportation and support. Both smaller and larger vessels are available.
Explorer is United States Coast Guard inspected for about 14 passengers and cruises at around 28 knots with top speed near 40. Our licensed captain is on call 7 days a week from April through September for transportation of film crews, on location support crews, supply runs, catering and safety.
