Alaska Wilderness Lodge Trip Overview
Sea Kayak Columbia Glacier, enjoy the comfort of the wilderness lodge for 2 nights, hike historic Ellamar, and paddle tranquil wildlife filled bays. A comfortable alternative to camping with all of the wilderness you are hoping for. Sea kayaking with sea otters is one of the highlights of this comfortable adventure.

Sampler 3 Day Alaskan Wilderness Lodge Based Itinerary
Day 1 - Meet at Pangaea Adventures for introductions and instruction. We will then load onto the motor boat for a ride out to Columbia Glacier (or Shoup Glacier) for a day of sea kayaking. We will sea kayak for 2 hours before enjoying a picnic lunch on the glaciers moraine, and then we will paddle another two hours before riding the motor boat to the Lodge. Treat yourself to a sauna after a tasty meal.
(Lunch - Dinner)
Day 2 - Wake up to a hot breakfast and then enjoy one of the many optional activities. Many people choose to kayak Bligh Island or take a long hike into the rainforest (included in cost).
Here are some optional activities that require an additional fee.
Flight seeing over Columbia Glacier
Sea Kayak Glacier Island with the Sea Lions
Go out on a fishing charter for Halibut or Salmon
Enjoy an evening stroll through the forest surrounding Ellamar and return just in time for another tasty meal.
Day 3 - After breakfast we get taken to Galena Bay by motor boat for another paddle in the sea kayaks. Galena Bay is known for viewing sea stars, spawning salmon, and Bald Eagles. We will be picked up in the early afternoon for our trip back to Valdez.

We only take Custom Dates to offer the best service. We require a minimum of a 3 day trip (2 Nights).
Price Notes:
Minimum Group Size is 2 at the lodge, however, we have a minimum water taxi cost of $320 each direction. This can be offset if you can share the water taxi with a Columbia Glacier Day Tour.

- Rubber Boots and Neoprene Mittens.
- All bedding and accomodations at the lodge..
- All safety gear and first aid kits
